The UNU-EHS / UNU-VIE is looking for a Research Associate to conduct research for the GreenAdapt2Extremes and ElbExtremes projects. They are looking for an early career candidate with a strong interest in pursuing a PhD in the context of the two projects. Qualifications are a completed Master’s degree or equivalent in environmental, natural or social sciences, geography, climate impact assessment, adaptation or another related field. Relevant work experience (1 year desirable) in the field of adaptation and/or risk research with a particular focus on floods and droughts, some of it preferably in an international context.
