This Course is part of the EUMA project, an EU-funded initiative aimed at enhancing the capacities of civil protection professionals and disaster risk managers. Developed by a network of European universities, the Course represents the final teaching activity of a two-year pilot programme exploring innovative academic content and methods. It spans five consecutive days and includes 36 hours of instruction, combining theoretical sessions with a practical exercise and a field excursion. The Course is intended for professionals, researchers, and graduate students with a strong interest in disaster risk management. Its objective is to provide participants with a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of current and emerging challenges in the field. The application deadline is 25 July 2025 and the Tuition fee is 100 Euro.
