SUMMARY:EUMA Summer School: Disaster Risk Management 2.0: Current and Futur
 e Challenges
DESCRIPTION:This Course is part of the EUMA project\, an EU-funded initiati
 ve aimed at enhancing the capacities of civil protection professionals and
  disaster risk managers. Developed by a network of European universities\,
  the Course represents the final teaching activity of a two-year pilot pro
 gramme exploring innovative academic content and methods. It spans five co
 nsecutive days and includes 36 hours of instruction\, combining theoretica
 l sessions with a practical exercise and a field excursion. The Course is 
 intended for professionals\, researchers\, and graduate students with a st
 rong interest in disaster risk management. Its objective is to provide par
 ticipants with a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of curr
 ent and emerging challenges in the field. The application deadline is 25 J
 uly 2025 and the Tuition fee is 100 Euro.
