The Welthungerhilfe e.V. offers a position as a junior Expert Anticipatory Humaitarian Action loctated in Bonn with a duration of two years.
As Junior Expert Anticipatory Humanitarian Action, you will be a member of a Programme Management Unit (PMU) which together with a Technical Anticipatory Humanitarian Action Team (TAHAT) comprises the Operational Support Unit of an Anticipatory Humanitarian Action Programme. In your role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of trigger models and impact-based forecasts through relevant technical expertise.
A university or polytechnic degree relevant to the position, e.g. UNU/EHS/NOHA, Geography, Disaster Risk Reduction, Disaster Risk Management is assumed.
