The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) is currently looking for a Student assistant (f/m/x) in Leipzig to support their research on hydrological extremes and their socio-economic impacts. The aim is to explore flood and drought hazards using different computational tools. The work will include data preparation, labeling of text data, and support within various tasks close to our research projects.
Requirements are i.a. current enrolment as a student (Bachelor or Master) in a relevant field (e.g., environmental sciences, earth systems sciences, hydrology, geography, sociology, or a related discipline) and good German and English knowledge.
