DESCRIPTION:The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) is curren
 tly looking for a Student assistant (f/m/x) in Leipzig to support their re
 search on hydrological extremes and their socio-economic impacts. The aim 
 is to explore flood and drought hazards using different computational tool
 s. The work will include data preparation\, labeling of text data\, and su
 pport within various tasks close to our research projects.\n\nRequirements
  are i.a. current enrolment as a student (Bachelor or Master) in a relevan
 t field (e.g.\, environmental sciences\, earth systems sciences\, hydrolog
 y\, geography\, sociology\, or a related discipline) and good German and E
 nglish knowledge.\n\nApplications can be submitted here until September 01
