The draft bill for the KRITIS umbrella law is entering the next round. With the status of 27 August 2025, comments were once again requested from professional associations. The German Committee for Disaster Prevention (DKKV) published its statement on 4 September 2025. It addresses key aspects such as the minimum obligations of critical facilities, the involvement of all levels of administration and the role of the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK). The statement also addresses issues of evaluation, responsibilities, costs and resources.
