The Urban Resilience and Scorecard Training for Asia-Pacific introduces key concepts on disaster risk reduction (DRR) and urban resilience, including the Ten Essentials for Making Cities Resilient. It provides guidance on using the Disaster Resilience Scorecard for Cities to help local governments integrate DRR into urban development and engage stakeholders effectively. The training also promotes city-to-city learning, sharing experiences through case studies from local governments and MCR2030 Resilience Hubs.
The training targets local government leaders and practitioners in disaster risk management, climate adaptation, and urban development, as well as national governments, NGOs, academia, youth, and the private sector working at the sub-national level.
The Webinar is organized by the UNDRR Global Education and Training Institute, UNDRR Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and the initative Making Cities Resilient 2030. It will be held in english.
