SUMMARY:Urban Resilience and Scorecard Training for Asia-Pacific
DESCRIPTION:The Urban Resilience and Scorecard Training for Asia-Pacific in
 troduces key concepts on disaster risk reduction (DRR) and urban resilienc
 e\, including the Ten Essentials for Making Cities Resilient. It provides 
 guidance on using the Disaster Resilience Scorecard for Cities to help loc
 al governments integrate DRR into urban development and engage stakeholder
 s effectively. The training also promotes city-to-city learning\, sharing 
 experiences through case studies from local governments and MCR2030 Resili
 ence Hubs.\n\nThe training targets local government leaders and practition
 ers in disaster risk management\, climate adaptation\, and urban developme
 nt\, as well as national governments\, NGOs\, academia\, youth\, and the p
 rivate sector working at the sub-national level.\n\nThe Webinar is organiz
 ed by the UNDRR Global Education and Training Institute\, UNDRR Regional O
 ffice for Asia and the Pacific and the initative Making Cities Resilient 2
 030. It will be held in english.
