The Research Center for Integrated Disaster Risk Management (CIGIDEN) is looking for a candidate to support their research work with Work-Package #5 “Climate-induced risks in territories and the built environment”. Specifically, WP#5 is focused on the different challenges posed by fires and heatwaves to communities, institutions, and the natural and built environment in central and central-south Chile.
The position is full time until the end of November 2025 and a maximum of 3 years, pending funding approval and an internal evaluation.The successful applicant is expected to reside in Santiago, Chile and she/he will receive a gross monthly salary of $2.147.250 Chilean pesos as well as the air ticket and allocation costs in Santiago. Additionally help will be provided for obtaining a working visa.
