The DKKV participated in the Krisenfit-Workshop at the University of Wuppertal, which featured presentations and two workshops on process analysis using the BIA tool and on the development of training concepts in crisis management. Among the participants were representatives from district administrations, district liaison commands (KVK), and other civil protection institutions. The BIA tool (Business Impact Analysis Tool) supports the structured analysis of administrative processes to assess their criticality during crises. The second workshop focused on the topic of knowledge transfer after crises, addressing challenges such as insufficient documentation, unclear responsibilities, and political barriers. Despite different professional backgrounds, the four groups identified similar challenges. A key takeaway was that effective knowledge transfer can only succeed when all relevant stakeholders are involved early on and actively contribute their experiences.
