In the last session on the second day on networking efforts in support of the Sendai DRR Framework implementation, the German Committee for Disaster Reduction (DKKV) was represented by Ronja Winkhardt-Enz, who participated online. The session, moderated by Soichiro Yasukawa from UNESCO, included discussions on the role of various networks like GARDI, IDRIM, CERIS, AFPCNT or DKKV in supporting the implementation of the Sendai DRR Framework. The DKKV’s involvement highlighted their commitment to international cooperation and knowledge exchange in disaster risk management. The regular “Stammtisch” of platforms for DRR with France, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany fosters the network of network approach in Europe.
