Last Friday, November 3, 2023, the DKKV had a delegation visit from the Ministry of Emergency Management from China to the office in Bonn. DKKV Managing Director, Dr. Benni Thiebes, presented the history of the organization and civil protection in Germany. He also focused on the lessons learned from the flood disaster in the Ahr valley in 2021, as well as chemical accidents and disasters. The delegation visitors also played the serious game on prevention, preparedness and the climate crisis to actively analyze the benefits of preventive action.
