The sensitivity of politicians and the population to the concerns and challenges of public health protection will be addressed at the CP Symposium on Public Health Protection on December 12, 2023 in Berlin. Once again this year, you can expect an exciting program with high-ranking speakers and a concluding panel discussion. This year’s event will focus on the topic “Rescue as a problem child – effects on civil protection in the health sector”. The presentations will cover topics such as challenges and difficulties, the civil healthcare system and aid organizations as well as disaster medicine. There will also be an interactive exchange with an accompanying industry exhibition. The BBK, an institutional member of the DKKV, will also be giving a presentation entitled “Sick rescue vs. healthy civil protection? What impact do current developments have on the cogwheel model?” and will take part in the panel discussion.
