The award ceremony for the DKKV Promotional Award 2022 and 2023 took place on 12 October 2023 in Berlin as part of a parliamentary evening on successful risk communication organised by the DKKV together with the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) and the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
The winners from both years were honoured by Albrecht Broemme, representing the THW Foundation, and by Sabrina Bagus, this year’s jury member and representing the German Red Cross. Both institutions supported the announcement of the DKKV Sponsorship Award in the past two years.
