As part of the EU-funded Horizon project ARTEMis (AleRT and Impact-Forecast Standards for Emergency Management), the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) is currently conducting a Europe-wide survey among disaster and crisis management stakeholders.

The aim of the survey is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing warning and impact forecasting systems in the European Union. The results will highlight the strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement of existing systems and serve as a basis for the development of harmonized and standardized approaches to civil protection.

The survey is aimed at experts from administration, science, practice, and organizations involved in warning systems, risk assessment, or operational planning. The data collected will be included in the report “The ARTEMis analysis of existing alert and impact forecasting systems across the EU,” which will be published during the course of the project.

Participation is possible online, and the questionnaire is available in several languages. The deadline for participation has been extended.

The survey can be found here.
