Das United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) lädt gemeinsam mit weiteren UN-Organisationen und internationalen Partnern zu dem Online-Workshop „Strengthening Whole-of-Society Capacities for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Resilience: Inclusive Governance and Innovative Mechanisms“ ein. Die Veranstaltung widmet sich der Frage, wie Katastrophenvorsorge und Klimaanpassung durch inklusive Governance und innovative Ansätze gestärkt werden können.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen Strategien zur Förderung einer ganzheitlichen, gesellschaftsübergreifenden Resilienz. Dabei werden unter anderem Ansätze zur risikoinformierten Planung, zur Einbindung des Privatsektors sowie zum Einsatz technologischer Lösungen behandelt. Zudem wird ein besonderer Fokus auf inklusive Perspektiven gelegt, etwa durch geschlechtersensible und barrierefreie Ansätze in der Katastrophenvorsorge. Auch die Rolle von Governance-Strukturen und strategischer Vorausschau für integrierte Klimamaßnahmen wird thematisiert.
Der Workshop findet vom 12. bis 14. Mai 2026 jeweils von 07:30 bis 11:00 Uhr online via Zoom statt und richtet sich an Fachleute und Interessierte aus Politik, Verwaltung, Wissenschaft und Praxis. Die Teilnahme ist kostenfrei, eine vorherige Anmeldung ist erforderlich. Für die Teilnahme an allen drei Sitzungen sowie das Ausfüllen einer Abschlussumfrage wird ein Zertifikat ausgestellt.

The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), together with other UN organisations and international partners, is inviting you to the ponline workshop ‚Strengthening whole-of-society capacities for disaster risk reduction and climate resilience: Inclusive Governance and Innovative Mechanisms‘. The event will address the question of how disaster risk reduction and climate resilience can be strengthened through inclusive governance and innovative approaches.
The focus will be on strategies to promote comprehensive, society-wide resilience. Themes covered will include risk-informed planning, the involvement of the private sector, and the use of technological solutions. Additionally, the workshop will focus on inclusive perspectives, such as gender-sensitive and barrier-free approaches in disaster risk reduction. The role of governance structures and strategic foresight for integrated climate measures will also be discussed.
The workshop will take place online via Zoom from 12th to 14th of May 2026, from 07:30 to 11:00am each day, and is aimed at professionals and interested parties from the fields of politics, public administration, academia and professional practice. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required. A certificate will be issued to those who attend all three sessions and complete a final survey.
