Cities often struggle to access financial resources for climate adaptation and resilience efforts, facing challenges in both project development and technical implementation. This one-hour webinar, hosted by UNDRR GETI in collaboration with CCFLA and MCR2030, aims to provide an overview of urban climate finance, introduce the project preparation process, and highlight successful examples from global cities. It will also present tools from CCFLA and its members designed to help local and subnational governments build capacity and create investible projects that strengthen resilience to climate hazards. The session is open to local officials and stakeholders involved in disaster risk reduction and climate action.
