Das Webinar „Women in Resilience: Bringing Equity to the City“ widmet sich der Frage, wie Geschlechtergerechtigkeit konkret in urbanen Räumen verankert werden kann. Im Fokus steht dabei die Rolle von Städten als zentrale Akteure, wenn es darum geht, Resilienzstrategien inklusiver zu gestalten, von sicherer Mobilität über den Zugang zu Dienstleistungen bis hin zu wirtschaftlichen Chancen.
Im Rahmen der Reihe Cities on the Frontline diskutieren internationale Expertinnen aus Praxis und Verwaltung, wie gender-sensible Ansätze in Stadtplanung, Klimaanpassung und Governance integriert werden können. Anhand konkreter Beispiele aus Lateinamerika wird gezeigt, wie solche Strategien nicht nur politische Ziele unterstützen, sondern auch spürbare Verbesserungen im Alltag von Menschen bewirken können.
Der Online-Austausch findet am 26. März 2026 statt und bietet eine Plattform für Austausch, Inspiration und praxisnahe Einblicke in die Gestaltung resilienter und gerechter Städte.

The webinar “Women in Resilience: Bringing Equity to the City” explores how gender equality can be effectively embedded in urban spaces. It focuses on the role of cities as key players in making resilience strategies more inclusive, covering everything from safe mobility and access to services to economic opportunities.
As part of the Cities on the Frontline series, international experts from the fields of practice and public administration will discuss how gender-sensitive approaches can be integrated into urban planning, climate adaptation and governance. Using concrete examples from Latin America, the event will demonstrate how such strategies not only support political goals but can also bring about tangible improvements in people’s everyday lives.
