The European Investment Bank organises the second conference on Community Disaster Preparedness in Luxembourg under the theme “Know Your Hazard” on October 26, 2023.
Questions to be discussed at the conference are i.a.: How much can our bodies endure when fighting the elements? What goes on in our minds and how can we recover from such a trauma? How can we rebuild our homes and make them more disaster resilient? What should we consider when taking out insurance?
The emotions and actions associated with events like flooding will be dealt with through a gamified immersive experience at the conference.
