The UN-SPIDER programme of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs will be organizing the “UN-SPIDER Bonn International Conference Space-based Solutions for Disaster Management: Early Warnings for All”. This conference will be held in the UN Campus in Bonn, Germany, from 12 to 14 March of this year. It is co-organized with the Centre for Remote Sensing of Land Surfaces (ZFL) of the University of Bonn in cooperation with the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). It will address the use of space technologies in early warning systems related to geological, hydrometeorological, coastal, extra-terrestrial, biological, health, and other environmental hazards.
