The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) can look back on an eventful 2024. With strong volunteer support and technical expertise, THW mastered several major operations, including heavy rain, flooding and the European Football Championship. THW also provided assistance internationally, for example in Ukraine and the Czech Republic. THW President Sabine Lackner honoured the tireless commitment of the helpers in civil protection.
