As part of a module in the Masters programme ‘Geography of environmental risk and human security’, the DKKV had the opportunity today to present the DKKV’s areas of activity to the students. The presentation began with the organisation of the association and the main areas of work: networking, consulting and knowledge transfer. The presentation was then livened up by one of the ‘serious games’, which was played with the students to emphasise the relevance of prevention measures and early warning systems. The ‘lessons to learn’ from the 2021 flood were then presented and discussed.
