In 2023, our institutional member Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) founded the CO-Design project together with the Flood Forecasting Centre (HVZ) Mainz (Rhineland-Palatinate) with the aim of being better prepared for extreme weather events in the future.
As part of the project, the communication chain for extreme weather events is being analysed in order to work out which weak points exist and to develop solutions for these.
A survey has now been developed to find out how products are understood and used.
