The UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) begins today in Baku, Azerbaijan. The programme consists of over 800 meetings and side events with a wide range of presentations, discussions and workshops on the topic of climate change. This year, in addition to the implementation of the previous year’s resolutions on energy, mitigation and adaptation targets, the focus will be on climate financing.
Germany will be represented by several federal ministers and DKKV is also sending two delegates to COP29 in Azerbaijan.
