On January 14th, 2025, the National Resilience Platform held its annual kick-off meeting. Around 75 representatives from government, civil society, business, academia, and other sectors gathered online to reflect on 2024 and look ahead to 2025. The platform continues to grow and is working on a joint statement with actionable recommendations to strengthen resilience in Germany, to be presented in March 2025. The next platform meeting will take place on March 26th and 27th, 2025, at the German Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Berlin.
