The 2,100-page final report of the ‘Flood Disaster’ committee of enquiry covers various areas, including the establishment of the committee, the mandate of the enquiry, the course of the taking of evidence and its assessment and results. The report also contains dissenting statements from the opposition parties.

The committee, which was constituted on 1 October 2021, held 47 meetings lasting almost 300 hours, including 226 witness interviews and hearings with 23 experts. The final parliamentary discussion of the final report is scheduled for the September plenary session on 18 and 19 September 2024.
