National organisations such as PLANAT (Switzerland), DCNA (Austria), DKKV (Germany) and AFPCNT (France) play a central role in promoting national risk reduction and the implementation of the Sendai Framework. By sharing knowledge and experience, they support the development of a risk culture and promote risk-based decision-making. The aim is to initiate discussions on the role and influence of such organisations, to make their findings available to other countries and to create synergies – in particular by empowering end users and building a ‘network of networks’.

A webinar on ‘Harnessing Synergy: Empowering End Users to make Risk-Based Decisions through Civil Society, Scientific Networks, and National Platform across Europe’ will take place on 6 November at 13:00.
