As part of the EU-funded “POWERBASE” project, in which the Austrian Red Cross is involved as a partner organization, an online survey is currently underway. A participant in the Master’s program, who is supporting the project on behalf of the Austrian Red Cross, is looking for further participants.

Project objective
The “POWERBASE” project, funded by Horizon Europe Cluster 3, aims to identify and evaluate requirements for future energy solutions in disaster and emergency contexts. The focus is particularly on emergency shelters and camps.

Experts and teams from organizations with expertise in the field of energy requirements and supply in (mobile) emergency shelters and camps are invited to participate.

What?
Evaluation of more than 14 statements on energy supply (e.g. generation, storage, distribution).

Duration:
Approx. 20 minutes.

Deadline:
Participation is possible up to and including July 8, 2025.

Purpose of participation
The results of the survey will be used to (further) develop innovative and needs-based energy solutions for emergency shelters and camps.
