The Special Issue Multimodal Characterisation of Built and Natural Environments for Multi-Risk Assessment in the journal Natural Hazards is published. This issue consists of a combination of 12 scientific papers and 9 short communications. The entire issue is now made temporarily freely available until 30 November 2023. (Online available in English).
We are happy to annouce that one of the articles was written by DKKV- Managing Director Dr. Benni Thiebes and Reserach Asssociate Ronja Winkhardt-Enz with the title “Challenges and Opportunities using new modalities and technologies for multi-risk management”.
Further Contributions address topics such as, “multi-risk assessment in a historical city”, “Earthquake fatalities and potency” and “the adolescent years of seismic risk assessment”.
