On October 19, 2023, the lecture series ” Klimakrise trifft Bevölkerungsrecht” (“Climate Crisis Meets Population Law”) will start. The speakers Susanne Krings (BBK) and Marie-Luise Beck (DKK) will lead the kick-off of the series organized by the DKKV and the University of Wuppertal.
The first lecture will provide an overview of the two thematic blocks: on the one hand, central actors and structures of civil protection will be presented, and on the other hand, the current state of knowledge regarding the global path towards the 1.5 degree limit will be highlighted.
This introduction will take place in lecture hall 14 of the University of Wuppertal (Gaußstr. 20, 42719 Wuppertal) from 6-8 pm. The event is hybrid in design and can also be attended via Zoom.
