In January, the German project partners of the INCREASE project came together for a two-day project meeting in Berlin. The focus of the first day was on mutual exchange and a presentation of the results of the individual work packages.
On the second day, various sessions took place, including a knowledge transfer workshop on the Sendai Framework (SFDRR) organized by DKKV. The SFDRR is a crucial instrument for building a safer and resilient world, whose success depends on the effective integration of disaster risk reduction into all aspects of development. In the workshop, possibilities for supporting the Sendai reporting were examined by analyzing possible contributions and elaborating alternative indicators for monitoring the objectives of the SFDRR in relation to resilience, recovery, and transformation of society and critical infrastructures. The results will soon be incorporated into a report on the contribution of the INCREASE project to the Sendai reporting.
