As part of the Himalayan Flood Database HiFlo-DAT project, which investigates the impacts of flood events in the Indian Himalayas, an extensive package of materials has now been released. This includes the journal article, a film, and an online repository with the complete database materials. The published materials provide new insights into past flood events and their impacts in the Kullu District (Himachal Pradesh, India), discuss policy-practice perspectives, and present a reliable method for collecting disaggregated, subnational flood damage data. This methodology allows for effective upscaling of the collected data to the wider Indian Himalayan region and beyond. Additionally, a policy brief will follow, summarizing the key findings and recommendations for action.

All materials, along with more information about the project, can be found here.
