The next Europe and Central Asia Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction will take place from 6th to 8th November 2024 in Budva, Montenegro. The aim of the event is to assess progress on the regional EFDRR Roadmap 2021-2030 and accelerate the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. Every three years, the platform brings together the governments of 55 member states as well as representatives of civil society and the private sector to discuss regional challenges in the area of disaster risk and promote solutions. The host in 2024 is the Government of Montenegro, supported by the UNDRR, UNDP, the European Commission and the Council of Europe. As the event is hybrid, interested parties can either register to participate on site or online.
