On Monday, DKKV was visited by a delegation from the Shandong Provincial Defence Mobilisation Office in China. The purpose of the visit to the office was to introduce the work of DKKV and to get to know disaster management in Germany better in general. Managing Director Dr Benni Thiebes presented the DKKV, the structures of civil defence and civil protection and the lessons to be learned from the 2021 flood disaster.
