Action for Climate Empowerment & Children and Youth
The overarching goal is to empower all members of society to take action on climate change through the six ACE elements – education and public awareness on climate change, training, public participation, public access to information and international cooperation on these issues.
The world is already experiencing changes in average temperatures, shifts in seasons and an increasing frequency of extreme weather events. The faster the climate changes and the longer adaptation measures are postponed, the more difficult and expensive it will be to respond to climate change. Adaptation is the adjustment of ecological, social or economic systems in response to actual or expected climatic stimuli and their effects.
