As part of the FloReST research project, measures are being developed to improve the resilience of urban infrastructures to heavy rainfall events. The new FloReST smart app enables citizens to independently record and report problem areas in connection with flooding and heavy rainfall. The aim is to actively involve the population in heavy rain prevention and to include local problems in the planning of measures.
The beta version of the app is currently available in the Google Play Store for Android devices. Users are invited to provide feedback via a questionnaire on the app’s homepage. An iOS version is not yet available.
