Disasters are becoming increasingly complex and have an impact on all areas of society. This increasing transnational complexity has brought with it new challenges that require the development of new innovative approaches to tackle these problems. In such a multi-layered environment, it is crucial to consider the strengths and limitations of both single and multi-hazard approaches from scientific, operational and communication perspectives. communication perspective.

As part of the EUMA project, a Winter School on these topics will be held at the DKKV office in Bonn from 6 to 10 January 2025.

Interested parties can apply until 30 November 2024. Applications are open to postgraduate students, practitioners and researchers in the field of disaster management and related areas. Participation is limited to 30 participants.
