Yesterday, Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser and Lower Saxony’s Minister of the Interior Daniela Behrens gained an impression of the work of the emergency services of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) in the flood areas. THW President Sabine Lackner accompanied the two of them in the afternoon to a deployment site in Hatten, Lower Saxony, where THW helpers are preparing so-called big bags filled with sand for transport.
