The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction has developed a survey to evaluate progress in implementing the 2021-2030 European Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction roadmap and the 2015-2030 Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction commitments relating to inclusive risk governance in Europe and Central Asia with a particular focus on the participation of children and youth stakeholders at the community, local, national and regional levels.
The below questionnaire scopes community and individual level leadership and inclusion of children and youth in DRR. The questions focus on the second action area “Inclusive and Collaborative systems for governance and decision making” of the European Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2021-2030 as it relates to children and youth. Supplementary questions scope youth inclusion across the EFDRR Action areas one and four in relation to risk communication, preparedness and recovery as these areas connect to risk governance.
The questions should take about 20 min. We are collecting responses until 24 December, 2024.
