The application priod for the Master Programme, Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security is now open. The programme is jointly offered by an institutional member of DKKV, the United Nations University – Institute for Environmental and Human Security (UNU-EHS) and the Departmenr of Geography at The Unviersity of Bonn. The two-year Master of Science programme is to provide postgraduate students with detailed knowledge, critical understanding, strategies and the tools required to take an interdisciplinary approach towards environmetnal risks and human security. The Master´s programme addresses theoretical and methodological debates in geography to better understand the complex emergence of environmental risks and natural hazards, their implications for human-nature relations (vulnerability, resilience, adaptation) and how to deal with them in practice.
Apply by 15 December 2023 to become a part of the cohort starting in autumn 2024.
