AHEAD Project and AFPCNT invites interested practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers to join an interactive webinar on the structuring, capitalization, and use of disaster damage and cost data.

📅 Date: 27 October
🕑 Time: 14:00-17:00 CET

The webinar will explore how disaster loss and damage data can be transformed into actionable knowledge to support the entire disaster risk management cycle, from prevention and preparedness to response, recovery, and reconstruction.

Participants will gain insights into European and national initiatives, including the AHEAD project, MUREX, Copernicus, the DRMKC-RDH Atlas, and other data-driven approaches that strengthen evidence-based decision-making and resilience. The programme brings together experts from French administrations, AFPCNT, and several European research and innovation projects.

The webinar will conclude with a forward-looking discussion on future developments, including the role of interoperability and artificial intelligence in improving the use of disaster data for risk reduction and crisis management.
