The latest issue of the Disasters Avoided Newsletter focuses on the interface between climate change and disasters – just in time for the upcoming COP30 climate conference in Belém, Brazil. In addition to an editorial by Taichi Minamitani (JICA), the issue features interviews with environmental journalist Andy Revkin, researcher Roger Pielke Jr. and disaster expert Lucy Easthope. The issue is supplemented by current case studies, international news and research findings on climate-related disaster prevention.
