On 11 September 2025, the ‘Nationwide Warning Day’ took place in Germany. In order to further improve the warning system for the population in future, the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) is conducting a population survey in collaboration with the market and opinion research institute INFO GmbH.
The survey takes around 10–12 minutes to complete and asks about personal experiences and impressions of the warning day. Participation is voluntary and anonymous – there are no right or wrong answers, every opinion is valuable.
Anyone interested is welcome to take part and contribute to the further development of the warning system in Germany.
You can find the survey here. Further information on the warning day can be found on the website of the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).
