Starting on 22 September, the DKKV and its institutional member CEDIM will host a series of lunchtime talks on the topic “Risk | Resilience | Reaction”. In ten compact online sessions, experts will provide exciting insights into current research, innovative methods and practical approaches to risk analysis, prevention and adaptation to extreme events. The focus will be on questions such as: What determines whether an extreme event becomes a disaster? How can we make our society more resilient in the long term? And which protection and prevention concepts need to be further developed in light of global changes?

The events will take place every two weeks on Mondays at lunchtime – ideal for finding inspiration and gaining new perspectives during your break.

Most sessions will be held in German, while two will take place in English. Details on the English-language talks can be found on the English website. The full programme is available on the German website and in the German flyer.
