Flood events pose a growing threat to cities and municipalities. This year’s floods have once again shown how important innovative and sustainable flood protection measures are. With the Flood Prevention Award 2025, the DKKV, together with the Academy for Flood Protection, would like to honour municipalities that strengthen resilience against flooding through exemplary projects and implement forward-looking concepts.
Apply now and present your pioneering approaches! We are looking for projects that include measures such as overall concepts, alarm and emergency plans, public relations work or flood exercises. The closing date for entries is 27 June 2025 and the best project will be awarded €1,500 in prize money.
