The annual conference of the Federal Government’s Advisory Council for Civilian Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding is dedicated to the role of civilian crisis prevention in a world characterised by power rivalries and military deployment.
The conference will shed light on cooperation with autocracies and the perception of German actions in a global context. It will also discuss the contribution that civil society organisations can make to conflict resolution, particularly in crises and wars.
Experts will provide insights into early crisis detection, environmental peacebuilding and mediation. The conference will be opened by Svenja Schulze, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development.
