The ‘Pact for the future’ was published as a result of the ‘summit of the future’. This event took place from 20 to 24 September 2024 and was part of the seventy-ninth United Nations General Assembly in New York. The ‘Pact for the future’ covers a wide range of topics, including peace and security, sustainable development, climate change, digital cooperation, human rights, gender equality, youth and future generations and the transformation of global governance. It also presents 56 concrete actions to help achieve the common sustainability goals.
