Under the slogan “Sei bereit wie nie!” (Be Ready Like Never Before!) the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia has launched a new campaign to strengthen volunteerism in disaster relief. The goal is to motivate more people to engage in voluntary disaster protection and thus enhance the self-help capability within the population.
The campaign was developed in collaboration with the Maltesers (MHD), the Johanniter Accident Aid (JUH), the Workers’ Samaritan Federation (ASB), the German Red Cross (DRK), the German Life Saving Society (DLRG), the Association of Fire Brigades (VdF), and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW).
