The FirEUrisk project has developed a science-based forest fire risk management strategy that has already been validated in five regions across Europe. On 16th September 2024, the FirEUrisk project together with the University of Alcalá de Henares will host a hybrid demonstration at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) in the city of Milan in Italy to evaluate the developed methods for European forest fire risks. The event is aimed at experts and researchers in the field of forest fires and will cover topics such as risk assessment, fire spread and adaptation strategies.
